• Aluminum- (additives in powders) highly toxic to the brain
• BHA & BHT- (preservative used in many products) a skin irritant, cancer and hormone disruptor
• Diethanolamine known as DEA, DEOA (emulsifiers, surfactant in soaps, bath products) linked to cancer
• Ethylene oxide- (found in most beauty products) harmful to the nervous system, developmental toxicant
• Formaldehydes- (used as preservatives- found in nail and hair products) a human carcinogen, respiratory disruptor, cancer and skin irritant
• Hydroquinone- (skin lightener) skin irritant, carcinogen and skin cancer
• Parabens – (used as preservatives) are found to be an endocrine disruptor which mimics estrogen
• PEG compounds- Propylene Glycols- (synthetic preservative/penetration enhancers) linked to skin irritation and allergic reactions especially for sensitive skin types
